Students can use this qualification to progress to university to study a Higher Education Foundation Degree, Higher Level Apprenticeship or other professional development programme. Some may enter a specialist area of employment. Many potential careers can be found at creativeskillset.org. The Extended Certificate is a two year qualification designed to be taken alongside other A-Level subjects. This qualification offers students a valuable, vocational insight into the creative media industry, with a range of both practical and theory units.
What you need to get on
Five GCSEs at grades 9-5 including English Language and Maths. If you completed a Creative and/or Media related course at GCSE then you must have achieved a grade 5 . Grade 5 or above in GCSE ICT would be an advantage but is not essential.

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
