This Level 2 course will empower you to communicate with Deaf people using British Sign Language (BSL) in everyday situations. You'll learn to discuss daily experiences and gain a valuable qualification. This course is perfect for anyone who wants to expand their communication skills and connect with the Deaf community.
What you need to get on
To join this course, you must: Be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date. Have already gained the Level 1 Award in British Sign Language or equivalent. Be assessed by the tutor to ensure the course is suitable for you.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
Is it open to 16 to 18 year olds?
Approved for 16 to 18 study on the government's Section 96 list.
