This Level 2 qualification is based on the national occupational standards for beauty therapy and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a beauty therapist. Throughout this qualification, you'll develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology and health and safety. You'll also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to consult with clients whilst providing a range of beauty treatments. During the course you'll cover the following topics: - Ensure responsibility for actions to reduce risks to health and safety - Promote additional products or services to customers - Develop and maintain effectiveness at work - Provide facial skin care treatment - Enhance the appearance of eyebrows and eyelashes - Carry out waxing services - Provide manicure services - Provide pedicure services - Apply make-up services - Fulfil salon reception duties
