Are you a school leaver 16-19? Fancy the idea of working in the barbering industry? The Level 2 diploma in Barbering qualification that will prepare you for a career as a junior barber. You will experience working in a realistic salon environment where skills are practiced and performed on real paying clients. The course is made up of both theory and practical session, exams and assignments. Uniform and kit are a compulsory requirement of the course. Uniform * Black trousers (no leggings) * Black flat shoes * Black tunic Kit * Full Barbering Kit - this includes training heads, scissors, combs, clips and brushes (Prices to be confirmed)
What you need to get on
A Level 1 qualification in Hairdressing or English and maths GCSEs at Grade 4 or above.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
