If you have an eye for design, an interest in materials and how to use these to create works of art, capture your creativity and hone your artistic talent with A level Art, Design & Textiles.

What you need to get on

Five GCSEs at grade 9-4, including English and maths. A grade 9-4 in a creative subject or an interest in the subject is also desirable. There are no formal additional entry requirements for this subject, however, previous study of an art-based subject is desirable. All students will spend the first two weeks of the course completing an assessment.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
