We offer the option of specialising in fine art or textile design at A level. During these courses you will follow a broad and balanced study of art which relates theory to practice and encourages freedom of choice. In fine art you will produce work in areas including drawing, painting, mixed media and printmaking. In textile design you will produce work in areas including fashion textiles, domestic textiles, printed and dyed fabrics, constructed textiles and art textiles. This A level would lead directly into subject related university courses and careers, and indirectly into a wide range of higher education courses and career choices. - BA (Hons) Art & Design - BA (Hons) Art History - Careers in design e.g. Graphic Designer - Careers in engineering and construction e.g. Product Designer

4 grade 4's and 2 grade 5's at GCSE. including grade 5 minimum GCSE Art

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
