A highly practical and creative modular course specialising in various areas of Art. Students should produce practical and critical/contextual work in one or more areas of study, for example drawing and painting, mixed-media, including collage and assemblage, sculpture, ceramics, installation, printmaking, moving image and photography.

What you need to get on

English GCSE at grade 4.5 or above (that means the average of English Literature and English Language GCSE) and Maths GCSE at grade 4 or above, plus at least three 9-5 grades in other GCSE subjects plus 5 in Art, or an equivalent grade in a Technology subject.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
