Constructed Textiles/Knitting/Weaving/Printing/Dying The course is for students who have a flair or passion for creative Art Textiles and would like to continue to develop their Textiles skills and knowledge as they move into A Level study. It is normal for a student to study A Level Textiles Design as part of a range of A Level subjects. We expect our students to be committed, motivated and hardworking as this is a challenging and demanding course. Students will need to be well organised and meet regular deadlines. Textiles Design offers a stimulating and varied course of study both for students wishing to continue with Art and Design as a career, as well as those, whether Arts or Science based, who want to use Art and Design as an additional subject for University entry.

Minimum Grade 5 in Art Textiles or Fine Art (not Technology Textiles)

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
