What the college says
This course is suitable for those who prefer to learn practically and do not wish to sit formally examinations at the end of year 13. As an art and design student you will develop a personal response inspired by the visual art world. You will develop your creativity and innovation and will form your own known artists.
What you need to get on
A minimum of grade 5 in English either literature or language and mathematics. You must have a minimum grade 6 in art and will need to be passionate and creative about the subject and recording your experiences understanding in a journal.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
