Art and Design is an exciting and stimulating subject that encourages creative self-expression exploring a wide range of individual solutions to given problems. Students should be committed to the subject, happy to be both supported and challenged. Students are able to progress to Foundation Art Courses and Higher Education HND and BA courses at University as well as Art based careers. Different titles can be studied at each level enabling informed choices regarding specialisation. Students who are particularly interested in focusing on a specific area, such as graphics or fashion, are able to explore and develop this in their project work
