What the college says
AQA Level 3 Extended Project All students have the opportunity to study for the EPQ as a stand-alone qualification which aims to extend the academic skills of students beyond A level. It is worth approximately the same as an AS level in terms of UCAS points, but the standard is that of an A level. It is graded from A*- E. The topic is chosen by the student (subject to approval) and can be cross-curricular in nature. The Project can be submitted in the form of a 5,000-word essay or as an artefact with a 1,000 word written report.
