A series of assignments that we help you develop your technical understanding and workings of a camera. Students should use sketchbooks/ workbooks/ journals to underpin their work where appropriate. They must demonstrate an understanding of how ideas, feelings and meanings can be conveyed and interpreted in images in the area of Photography. An appreciation of viewpoint, composition, aperture, depth of field, shutter speed and movement.

What you need to get on

GCSE Grade 6 in Art. Students who have not studied GCSE Art and Design should demonstrate an appreciation for the subject area via a photographic portfolio of 15-20 images

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
