The study of History equips you with vital skills, including: literacy skills, questioning and listening skills, co-operation and team work, enquiry, communication, analysing and learning about the world around you.

What you need to get on

5 GCSEs 4 or above including GCSE grade 5 English Language and Maths. Although a qualification in History at GCSE is desirable it is not essential.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
