This qualification covers a range of advanced accounting tasks and financial processes. On successful completion of the course, you will achieve the AAT Level 3 Certificate in Bookkeeping, an internationally recognised qualification awarded by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT). This qualification is ideal for individuals already working in finance or accounting, as well as those looking to pursue a career in accountancy. It provides the practical knowledge, industry-recognised certification, and professional skills valued by employers.

What you need to get on

To study this course, you must have completed AAT Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping or AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting. If you have previous accounting or bookkeeping experience please email mmcormack@heartofyorkshire.ac.uk to discuss your experience further. As this in an online blended course, you must have access to a laptop or PC.

Two-year technical qualification with a 45-day industry placement. Equivalent to three A levels.
