This course is aimed at adults, over 19-years-old, who are progressing from a Level 2 qualification or those currently working in an accounting role and already have a sound working knowledge of double entry bookkeeping. The AAT Level 3 Certificate in Bookkeeping course is designed to ensure that students have the advanced bookkeeping skills necessary to work in a bookkeeping role or to progress to higher level accountancy. You could look forward to a career as a Professional Bookkeeper, Accounts Manager, Senior Bookkeeper or Ledger Manager.
What you need to get on
You will need a minimum of Level 4 GCSE, or equivalent, in maths and English and AAT Level 2 in Bookkeeping or Accounting or proven working knowledge of double entry, which will be assessed via an online test.
How you are assessed
Two-year technical qualification with a 45-day industry placement. Equivalent to three A levels.
