This Level 3 course, offered remotely as either a daytime or evening programm, will start to develop your skills further in double-entry bookkeeping. It is targeted towards manual bookkeeping. You will learn how to deal with year-end adjustments and producing the Financial Statements of sole traders and partnerships, together with gaining an understanding of the rules around VAT and producing a VAT Return Level 3 consists of the following modules: * Financial Accounting: Preparing Financial Statements * Tax Processes for Business Both of the modules are assessed by online supervised exams authorised and assessed by the AAT and you would receive instant results for them* Courses are delivered remotely during the daytime or evening – lessons will be a combination of theory and practical exercises. * Homework will be set each week * The course fee does not include the registration with the AAT, which must be completed within four weeks of starting the course (at the very latest). What you need to get on

You will need to have a good level of general education with good literacy and numeracy skills. You will be required to undertake a short test to check your current skill levels in these areas and an AAT online skills test. If you are progressing from the Level 2 qualification, then you would need to have fully completed this and achieved a Merit Grade.
