What you need to get on

You'll need a good level of English & Maths to study the course. This can be via Level 2 qualifications or GCSEs in both subjects at grade 4 (C) or above, or initial diagnostic assessments (Adults). You will also need basic IT skills

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
