Sociology examines the culture we live in and looks at a variety of viewpoints, including your own. You must have lots of opinions and be interested in the world around you, including politics. This means listening to other views, as well as expressing your own.

What you need to get on

5 or above in English GCSE. You must be prepared to do lots of writing. There is no coursework and the exam is essay based.
