What the college says
Students must have a genuine interest in social issues and why British society is as it is. Students are expected to participate fully in lessons and be willing to discuss their ideas and opinions with others. The course will help you develop skills, understanding and knowledge that employers across a variety of industries are looking for. The course will also help you to develop the skills of research, essay writing, independent learning and also strong critical thinking which will be an asset at University.
What you need to get on
Five GCSEs at grades 9-5 including English Language and Maths. Grade 6 in English Language and English Literature is required.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
