Sociology is the systematic study of society and human behaviour. During the two years, students will look at different aspects of society in more detail, and question why society functions in the way that it does. Topics to be taught include Education, Family and Households, Crime and Deviance, Beliefs in Society and Research Methods.

What you need to get on

5 x grade 4 or above including English Language and Maths. Grade 5 in English Language and one other essay based subject.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
