This course is designed for anyone that has an interest in photography and wishes to develop their skills while gaining technical knowledge of the medium. You will be someone who is creative, enjoys taking photographs and can develop ideas through sustained practical assignments.
What you need to get on
General Qualifications: For 3 A Level subjects you require 6 GCSEs grades 9-4 in academic subjects, taken in one sitting. In addition, there are subject specific entry criteria which relate to the specific demands of the subject. Specifically for Photography you need a GCSE grade 6 in a suitable subject such as Photography, Media or Art. Without this then evidence of your skills should be shown through a portfolio or sketchbook.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
