Photography allows you to capture a moment and keep it forever - it's like a mirror with a memory.If you have a serious interest in photography and want to develop your essential knowledge and skills, then this is definitely the course for you.This subject combines elements of culture and communication with technical knowhow, enabling you to occupy the horizon between art and science.As a student you will think hard about your compositions in order to convey your own unique view of the world.We also expect you to have a lot of fun as you experiment with different equipment and techniques.
What you need to get on
Five GCSEs at grade 4 and above with a minimum average GCSE score of 4.0, including:*English Language*Maths*Art and Design or another art-related subject is an advantage but not essential
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
