This popular course is for you if you are hard working highly motivated and want to develop your photographic observational and analytical skills and increase your knowledge of this contemporary subject. In addition to photography darkroom work and digital image manipulation you will spend a considerable amount of time planning analysing evaluating and writing work up in your sketchbooks. You are encouraged to respond to set themes in a creative and individual manner.
What you need to get on
You will need a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 9 4 including English and evidence of your photography abilities. If you have not studied an art GCSE you may still apply and may be given a photographic assignment to test your suitability for the course. At interview you are required to bring a portfolio / sketchbook of art work with you. You will also be required to complete a GCSE to A Level Transition Project prior to enrolment.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
