What the college says
The course is designed to inspire, challenge and empower the individual. In studying Mathematics, you will join a select group within society whose members are in high demand, learning a range of transferable skills that make Mathematics the ideal companion to any other choice of subjects. The course studied is the MEI syllabus set by the OCR exam board and consists of 6 modules each assessed by an examination.
What you need to get on
Level 7 or above in Mathematics at GCSE. Anyone with a lower level at GCSE needs to speak to a Maths teacher and Course Leader.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
