What the college says

To enrol for A level Mathematics, you must have at least a Grade 7 for GCSE mathematics. However, that alone won't guarantee success. You must have an enquiring mind and enjoy problem solving. Successful students at A level are prepared to persevere and work independently. All mathematicians have experienced that feeling of satisfaction when they solve a challenging problem or master a new concept. If you are also likely to study subjects such as Science, Geography, and Psychology, which have mathematical content, then studying A level Mathematics could well be advantageous.
