Mathematics is accessible to many students and they learn to work in teams. It goes well with all other subjects. As a language in its own right, it can be studied with English, French or German; its scientific/technological content means it goes well with Design or Science and its statistical analysis and project work supports History, Geography, Sociology, Psychology and Politics. It encourages logical thought and problem solving skills.
