p On this course you will learn how to develop design solutions as you explore how graphic design can communicate ideas and messages. A graphic designer is responsible for much of the design work that we see in our daily lives; logos magazine layouts advertisement campaigns websites and much more. This course encourages you to develop your powers of creativity problem solving digital traditional and practical skills. /p

What you need to get on

You will need a minimum of 5 GCSEs grade 9 4 including an art based subject English Language and maths. At interview you are required to bring a portfolio / sketchbook of art work with you. If you have not studied an art based GCSE you will need to attend a second interview to present a portfolio.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
