A Level Fine Art is for you if you want to stretch your artistic capabilities and take experimental risks in 2D and mixed media. Your focus is on materials techniques and processes where you'll get the opportunity to combine media in inventive and non traditional ways.

What you need to get on

You will need a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 9 4 including an art based subject and English Language. At interview you are required to bring a portfolio / sketchbook of art work with you. You will also be required to complete a GCSE to A Level Transition Project prior to enrolment.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
