Fine art is an exciting course that will challenge your creativity, your technical ability and your conceptual knowledge. It is a broad course that allows you to develop as an artist and a creative thinker. You will learn how to use a wide range of traditional and contemporary media. You will also develop your critical thinking skills through discussions, analysis of works and visiting galleries.

What you need to get on

GCSE grade 5 in a visual arts subject or submission of a satisfactory portfolio of artwork.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
