What the college says
Students of Art and Design will have opportunities to generate practical work, ideas and research from primary, secondary and contextual sources. In the Art department, we will work with a broad range of media and processes including traditional techniques. Students will develop and refine their ideas, presenting their outcomes in creative and imaginative ways. They will explore the interrelationships between art, craft and design processes and the context in which they operate.
What you need to get on
At least a Level 6 GCSE Art or Level 2 BTEC Art. 4 in Maths.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.

The A-level-equivalent step, and what universities and employers ask for.
