This is a fun and exciting course that combines academic study with practical tasks. Studying this course will open your eyes to the power of film to entertain, inform and emotionally engage audiences.? You will encounter a wide range of critically acclaimed films and learn about different cultures, societies and time periods through the study of both British and global films. You will also develop your own film-making skills. Film studies is an excellent accompaniment to other creative and discursive subjects such as media studies, English, photography, history, sociology, computing.
