A Level English Language and Literature presents clear continuity from GCSE English and GCSE English Literature with the study of literary and non-fiction written and spoken texts. The course will develop your creativity and expertise by producing your own original writing. You will develop a clear understanding of the functions and usage of language for a variety of purposes and you will need to be a keen reader who is prepared to take on some challenging texts.
