If you're a keen reader, enjoy analysing language and want to develop your own creative writing, this course would suit you. It compliments most other arts and humanities subjects and is particularly suited to students wishing to pursue careers where higher level communication and analytical skills are important. It will give you transferable skills including the ability to read critically, analyse and evaluate and undertake independent research.

What you need to get on

• An Attainment 8 (as defined by the DfE) score “Attainment 8” of 55.0 or greater. • Passes at Grades 4-9 in GCSE English Language and Mathematics. • Students wishing to study more than two of the subjects: Mathematics; Biology; Chemistry; Physics; Economics or Psychology at Advanced Level GCE will need to achieve an Attainment 8 score of 65.0 or greater
