Computer Science is about problem solving. You will learn how to write programs and how computers work from an abstract point of view. This course has a mathematical approach and is challenging; you will develop your logical and thinking skills and there will be plenty of practical programming and some opportunities to work creatively in the context of coding.

What you need to get on

Requires GCSEs in English at grade 4, maths and science (including computer science) at grade 6, plus the standard entry requirements of an A Level or mixed programme.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
