What the college says

Chemistry helps us to understand the world in which we live and underpins a wide range of science-based degree courses and careers. It is also highly regarded by Universities and employers of non-scientific careers. In addition to the laboratory practical skills you will develop, Chemistry helps you to develop research, problem solving, numerical and analytical skills. It helps you to challenge ideas and work things out through logic and step-by-step reasoning. Chemistry often requires teamwork and communication skills too, which is great for project management.
