What the college says
The course covers illustration, advertising, packaging, computer graphics and television in greater depth. State of the art facilities enhance the curriculum delivery. Use of professional digital cameras, A3 colour laser printers, graphics tablets and industry standard software will also be available. Relevant images, artefacts and resources relating to a range of design styles from the past and from recent times will be explored, integral to the investigating and making process. Responses to these examples must be shown through practical and critical activities, which demonstrate understanding of different styles, genres and traditions.
What you need to get on
Waddesdon Points System to enter the Sixth Form explained in the prospectus. Suitable portfolio of work and minimum of 5 in GCSE Art or Graphics.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
