During the course you will spend a good proportion of your time working independently in the Art studio producing practical work. You will also take part in visits to galleries and exhibitions, small and large group discussions, reasearch with an emphasis on the use of ICT, Art History seminars, slide video presentations and group projects. The qualification provides an ideal structure for those students who wish to pursue Art and Design at degree level or as a career. It is highly regarded by Art Colleges and Universities and one that demonstrates your ability to be critical, to make your own judgements and to express yourself creatively.
