The course covers a variety of experiences exploring a range of two and three-dimensional media, processes and techniques. Relevant images, artefacts and resources relating to a range of art, craft and design, from the past and from recent times, including European and non-European examples, will be explored, integral to the investigating and making process. Responses to these examples must be shown through practical and critical activities, which demonstrate understanding of different styles, genres and traditions. Students will explore drawing using a variety of methods and media on a variety of scales. Students are required to work in at least two of the following areas of art, craft and design: Fine Art, Graphic Design, Textiles, Three-Dimensional Design or Photography.

What you need to get on

Waddesdon Points System to enter the Sixth Form explained in the prospectus. Suitable portfolio of work and minimum of minimum of 5 in GCSE Art.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
