Art / Photography /Textiles - If you are self-motivated and passionate about art and design or are inspired by the challenge of working creatively to a project theme or design brief, then this is the course for you. You will get hands-on experience in a range of art, craft and design disciplines from fine art, drawing, painting , mixed media, sculpture, ceramics and print-making to digital design, textiles and photography. Through creative problem-solving, critical thinking and analysis you will build your knowledge of historic and contemporary art practice which will influence your creative directions and practical work. Enrichment opportunities included artist-led workshops, visits to local art galleries, residential trips to London, Paris and/or Barcelona.

What you need to get on

Standard Entry Requirements including GCSE Grade 4 or above in a creative subject. Throughout the course you are required to purchase top-up sketchbooks, portfolio and specialist materials for finished outcomes. Sketchbooks can be purchased from the Kings' art shop at cost price via ParentPay.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
