What the college says

Students who study A–level Art will work with a variety of media including drawing, painting, printing, mixed media, and new media. Students will develop personal ideas and relate them to the work of artists and designers. Work will be predominately practical but students will have to keep annotated journals containing research and investigation and will complete a written personal study in Y13 about their work.

What you need to get on

Students must achieve Grade 6 or above in GCSE Art and Design.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
