What the college says

A Level fine art allows you to develop personal visual responses to ideas, observations, experiences, environments and cultures, using practical, critical and contextual thinking. It provides you with a good grasp of a range of traditional and new media, processes and techniques. It can work well with other subjects such as Design Technology, English and Drama.

What you need to get on

QEHS standard entry requirements will apply and in addition students will be expected to achieve at least a grade 6 in GCSE Art to be able to cope with the rigour of the course.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
