This City & Guilds accredited qualification is aimed at learners aged 16-19 who currently do not meet the entry requirements to start the Level 2 Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles but would like to develop basic knowledge and skills in motor vehicle systems. Successful learners will develop and practise the skills required for entry level employment and/or career progression in the automotive industry.Course entry requirements: Minimum of GCSEs grade 2 in English and Maths

You will need to demonstrate an ability to achieve Level 1 English and maths by the end of the course through an initial assessment.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
