What the college says

A course designed for students who love cars and are interested in learning about the motor vehicle industry. During the year you will study various elements including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering and suspension and working safely to industry standards in preparation for employment. There is also the opportunity to work on customer's cars in the college's semi-commercial garage as well as on our hybrid and electrical training panels. Students take part in industry related trips to meet with local employers, as well as a car wash and valeting service enterprise project. Progression is onto Level 2 Fitting or Maintenance and Repair depending upon entry requirements.
