What you need to get on

p You will need 4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above including grade 3 or above in English Language. You will also be considered if you have successfully completed a Level 1 in Sports & Public Services together with Key Skills in English and Mathematics. You must also successfully complete an interview. /p p If you do not have GCSE English Language or Mathematics at grade 4 or above you will be required to take Mathematics and English in order to improve your key skills. /p

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
