On the Understanding Working in The Health Care Sector Level 2 Certificate, you will get the opportunity to investigate working roles within the health sector and be provided with the underpinning knowledge needed to work effectively. To bring your studies to life, you will conduct skills sessions in our outstanding stimulation suite and conduct various employability and skills workshops to help secure your future destination. If you want a great foundation to build on before you embark on the Level 3 BTEC course or the T-Level in Health, this Level 2 Certificate gives you the opportunity to develop sound knowledge and skills in the subject, whilst also improving GCSE grades in Maths and/or English alongside if necessary.

What you need to get on

At least GCSE grade 4 in English Language or Maths plus three other grade 3�s at GCSE

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
