This full-time health care course will provide you with an introduction to a wide range of key subject areas within health care, specifically to progress you to our Level 3 Health T.Level in 2024. It is designed as a Pre. T.Level. This qualification aims to give you the opportunity to investigate a work role in the health sector and provide the underpinning knowledge needed to work effectively. It is designed for anyone considering a career in the health sector who needs a bridging course before starting a T.Level. You will gain an understanding of health care as you study areas such as: Understanding the Role of the Healthcare Worker, Communication Skills for Working in the Health Sector, Personal Development in the Health Sector and Equality and Diversity. This qualification is fulltime and designed for 16-18-year olds wanting a career in the health sector. This bridging course will prepare you for the substantial T.Level in 2024. For example in order to enrol on a T.Level you may need to have five high grade GSCEs to include maths/English and a Science, therefore this bridging course Level 2 is ideal to prepare you.

What you need to get on

The Level 2 Health course is designed to prepare learners for the T.Level Health in which you need five high grade GSCEs for, therefore if you do not have the five required we will consider you on an individual basis for this Level 2, you must already have at least three GCSEs of Grade 4 or above. Ideally these would include maths and English qualifications.

How you are assessed

Two-year technical qualification with a 45-day industry placement. Equivalent to three A levels.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
