What the college says
This course gives you the opportunity to gain the skills and knowledge for a range of careers in the film and television industries. You will develop professional production techniques alongside a critical understanding of media theory. Practical projects will be completed using state of the art camera and editing equipment, as well as professional standard post production software such as Final Cut pro, Adobe After Effects and Maya. The extended diploma course is equivalent to 3 A Levels.
What you need to get on
5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or higher including maths or English, or a relevant Level 2 qualification. It is recommended that learners have, or are working towards, a grade 4/ grade C or above in GCSE maths or English.
