This highly practical course will develop your understanding of animation techniques and processes, underpinned with media theory, to bring your animation ideas to life. From developing the concept, story creation, style and look of your animation, to an introduction to a variety of animation forms, including traditional stop motion techniques to more digital based approaches. On the course you will also develop awareness of career options and we will support you in the next stage of education or employment via support of CV writing, UCAS references and developing showreels and portfolios.

What you need to get on

For the Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma you will need 4 GCSE�s at a Grade 4 or above including both your maths and English. Although some allowance may be made for those just off the grade in one of these, and who would undertake November resits. Note: The Level 3 is a 2 Year Study Programme, although some students may only wish to complete the first year of the qualification and then continue to gain the Diploma
