What the college says

You will study a mix of practical and theory across the course. For example, you’ll learn how to master the art of Filmmaking, Recording, Editing and mixing sound for Video Production, techniques like ADR and Foley, creating sound effects, using professional microphones and industry-standard software. As well as how to analyse the work of other filmmakers. You’ll also learn a lot of transferable skills, such as communication and interpersonal skills. You will be assessed on all of your practical knowledge, from Film and Video Editing to Animation and Photography. You’ll get real work experience, working to live briefs from local companies. Many of our qualifications include an external assessment.

What you need to get on

You will require a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4 (formerly A*-C) including English and Maths.
