The UAL Level 2 Diploma in Performing Arts provides the knowledge, understanding and skills for learners wishing to explore an overview and base understanding of the performing arts industry. The course provides a specialist work related programme of study that extends and develops key knowledge and practical skills required in the sector and offers different emphasis through the specialist units. This is a practical course where learners will take part in practical dance, drama and singing classes as well as hands on instruction in technical theatre. Learners will be taken on regular trips to view professionals at work as well as perform regularly in our purpose built theatre. Learners will work alongside industry experts and will engage in real theatre productions as backstage crew, front of house, technical support and performers, gaining a real overview of the performing arts industry and the career paths available.
